The EP COLLISION was the first music coming from the band. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Frederik uglebjerg, the EP Collision whas truthfully speaking the first big thing happening for Collision

Befor this the only way to se us, was at one of our few (small) shows.

One day our singer Oskar came in and told us about this guy Frederik he found online, and he told us about why we need to go record some stuff or else we will never accomplish anything… he was right

So we took all the money we had, packed our bags and drove to aarhus for 3 days where we recorded

quick fun fact:

we made 5 kilos of bolognese the day prior and ate nothing but that and beer for whole weekend… we don’t recommend that, especially when u sleep (fart) in the same room as u record…

ALLOWED TO DREAM is more than just an album to us, we spend 5 months recording this album ourselves, and we started with absolut 0 experience in a studio. not only was it a steep learning curve but also the period where we really started learning about ourselves as musicians and becoming more of a band rather than just a bunch of friends messing around.

At this time Marius was NOT a part of collision but good friends with Lauge, and he’s pretty good with studio equipment and stuff. so on weekend Lauge invited him to the studio for some help and vibes ;D and that was actually the time we alle met him the first time. and also part of the reason we wanted him in the band, because he just came in with such good morals and vibes, showed us what a great person he was. so when we started talking about getting another guy on guitar there really was no doubt.

It was stressful, irritating and tuff . looking back we wouldn’t have been without it tho, all thanks to those challenges we now stand closer than ever, those 5 stressful moths really made collision what it is today!

Looking away from all the stress, tuff conversations and long nights in the studio, we also had fun. being around your best friends for that many hours just doing what u love, and learning together is just fucking magic!

AND BOY OH BOY DO WE LOOK FORWARD TO MAKING OUR NEXT ALBUM!!!

Quick fun fact:

When Jens Recorded MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE, he had tried for many hours to get it perfect, but for some reason couldn’t get it

At 3 in the morning still trying to get the drum right after 6 hours, he took ALL his clothes of and recorded the song perfect first try… naked ;D
